Nice idea. Now let me add an answer to a question that I've answered lots of times already: "why can't I dual-class my character?" So, here goes:
J'aran's dual-classing FAQ
I. Requirements:
1. Race: Dual-classing is only open for Human characters.
2. Class: You can only dual if the resulting class is a viable multiclass option. So only:
Fighter -> Cleric
Fighter -> Druid
Fighter -> Thief
Fighter -> Mage
Ranger -> Cleric
Cleric -> Fighter
Cleric -> Ranger
Cleric -> Thief
Cleric -> Mage
Druid -> Fighter
Thief -> Fighter
Thief -> Cleric
Thief -> Mage
Mage -> Fighter
Mage -> Cleric
Mage -> Thief
3. Level: You can only dual if the level you have in your starting class is 2 or higher.
4. Abilities: You need a minimum score of 15 in the prime requisite(s) of the starting class and a minimum of 17 in the prime requisite(s) of the class you want to dual to.
The prime requisites:
Fighter: Strength
Ranger: Strength and Constitution
Cleric: Wisdom
Druid: Wisdom
Thief: Dexterity
Mage: Intelligence
So, to dual from a Fighter to a Thief, your character needs to have at least 15 STR and 17 DEX. The other way around, from Thief to Fighter, you need 15 DEX and 17 STR. To dual from a Ranger to a Cleric, you need 15 STR, 15 CON and 17 WIS.
II. Frequently Asked Questions:
1. I just dualed my character, but now I can't use the abilities from my first class. What up?
If you dual, you won't be able to use your first class' skills until you reach one level higher than the level you dualed at. Let's say you dualed from a Thief to a Mage at level 8. You will now not be able to use your thieving skills until you reach level 9 as a Mage. You could say that you're a single-class Mage until you reach level 9 and get your skills back.
2. I just dualed my character, but now I don't receive any hit points at level-ups. What up?
That's also normal. You won't get any more HPs until you reach one level higher in your new class than the level you dualed at.
3. So, when will I start improving my first class' skills again? One level higher than when I dualed, right?
Nope, wrong. Once you dual, the skills of the class you started out as will not improve anymore. Not ever.
Hope I didn't forget anything.
EDIT: I did forget some stuff.

More to come when I think of it.
