I've just been given a quest to escort Sondale of Shimmerene through Telasero. When I got to Telasero there was a note pinned to the door saying that she thought it was safe and was going down to check it out (what a plonker). Anyway I met a few ash people who were easy enough to dispose of and found Sondale and started to escort her out of the place but there's this giant size walrus looking mage called Dagoth or something like that with some pretty powerful magic blocking the entrance. My question first of all is, ....is this the final beast I'm supposed to defeat? Because I don't want to finish the last part of the game until I've done almost all the quests, and if not, what are some best practices for taking him out. Thanks in advance for your help.
