Go for a custom spell based on the "Calm Human" Spell.
I had this one made by a Spellmaker:
Title: Calm Biped
Delivery: Ranged
Min: 3 pt
Max: 3 pt
Area: 6ft
Duration: 21 seconds (12-15 if you are really bad at Illusion)
Some Mages just get plain rattled when charged by blood thirsty, heavily armored, muderous, screaming psychopaths and miss the target. With an area effect, just aim at the ground a few feet in front of the enemy and by the time the spell is cast and travels to the aim point, they step right into it and chill out [img]smile.gif[/img] Good Luck!
