Hey Xerin!
You can download the patch anywhere you like.
I usually download things to my desktop, where they are easy to find.
Before you run the update, save your Morrowind/Saves directory to a backup location.
Just double click on the downloaded patch to run it.
It should be able to locate your Morrowind directory ok.
You will need to update any MODs you want to use, so they will work correctly. I can explain how to do this is you need help in this area.
