This has nothing related to any quests, but I have found a really good ring for a thief fairly early in the game. Don't quote me on this, but..

In Pelegiad, right outside Medestien Ence's shop, there are a few crates. Now, I'm not sure if this is a definite object, as crates tend to change contents in almost every game, but in one of them is a ring of chameleon 40-60%. I am not completely sure on the stats, but it still is a good ring, compared to the shadow constilation bonus..
