Nivram

A searing pain flashed across his body, originating from his shoulder, but luckily the pain was comparable to the pain he had felt after he had torn his foot open by a sharp rock at the age of six, and not like the pain he had felt when he nearly died due to an accident involving a scythe.

But still, Nivram's right shoulder hurt like hell, and he found that he could no longer hold the dagger inside it, which cluttered to the ground.

What was probably going to save Nivram was the arrival of Telryn just at that moment. Fighting the pain, Nivram reached behind his back to a side pocket of his leather bag, and quickly drew another throwing dagger, which at first he aimed at the man, who had thrown the dagger at him, hoping for revenge.

But then the archer arrived. Revenge had to wait. Nivram knew the dangers that an archer could pose to any member of his group, should others also come to his aid. The bowman was a fair distance away, but it was not an impossible throw. Nivram aimed carefully, taking into account the fact that already wounded, the bowman would move differently and let loose the dagger.
