For Jonal:

In reply to Jonal, the fear started mounting once again, then suddenly a chilling voice came from behind him.

"That's enough Grigg."

Jonal had not even noticed the man, who had been previously in the window above. He could now see that the man had a face, which showed no emotions, it was a blank slate.

Light invaded the dark corridor and Jonal could see that it was barely twenty feet long. The only exit they could go through was the one he had come through.

There was a small hole at the other end of the small tunnel and Jonal could just see Grigg's retreating back inside it. It was however much too small for him to go through.

"Come, let us go to more comfortable quarters."

As the man led Jonal through corridors and chambers, always going downwards he could see that he had a limp. After about ten minutes they arrived at a chamber, on one side of which were stationed two guards on each side of a tall door. They opened the door as the man approached and he and Jonal went into the small chamber.

Hundreds of books lined all of the walls, and the room looked much more like a study, than somewhere where the leader of a cult resides. A small bed in the corner and a table facing the door, with a chair behind it were the only furnishings of the room. The topics of the books were mostly teology, but some of them were even literary books.

He sat on the chair, while motioning the bed for Jonal to sit on.

"As you have probably guessed, I am Shaka. I know that you are Jonal, and I am pretty sure that you have several questions."
