I would like to stress that characters can and will die over the course of the game. This is especially dependant on your actions. Sometimes you may get lucky; other times you may not.
Larry phrased it beautifully when I was discussing games and character deaths with him a short while ago:
"Nobody is safe from death...not even you...and the game will claim the lives of whom it will."
Something for you all to remember
. Not even Isokla is safe (her probably least of all, but I'm not going to let anything slip... yet.)
So to sum up - bear in mind that while characters may die (hopefully) - players won't with them, meaning that a new character is always possible. Well, usually
.
Have fun!

Edit: In regards to the latest post - DrowArchmage's character
may still respond, but it will be in an exceedingly limited fashion (if roleplayed properly) and he should not technically be able to get up after such a blow.
Oh - and if anyone thinks that this latest post is unfair or bias, or has denied their character a realistic chance to respond in
any way, do drop me a line and we'll talk it over. I would like to stress that I am always open and willing to receive feedback and whatnot (or I would like to hope so). I may be over justifying myself here, but.. *shrug* better to get things clear now rather than have issues later, no?
If no one contacts me or the like (within a three days to week), I will assume things stand as posted and shall continue. I suggest you all do the same until otherwise notified the post has been changed.
Since this is the first time a character (any character) is so near death - we're sort of stepping into new ground, so - as DM - I'd ask for your support as players and hopefully, we can all work things through so if such an occurrence (and hopefully it will) happen again, we can all play things through without stepping on each other’s toes. And that's all I've got to say about that.
