Inquisitor Marcos of Snowdale - 98/98
The inquisitor approached the entrance to the underground construction, alert but without hesitation. While he did not enjoy the prospect of venturing into the unexplored with as little information as he had, he also knew there was little chance he might learn more from others here. It was no different from purging those who tainted magic, he reflected. In a typical case you knew her name, and her appearance, and that she resided in that gloomy forest over there. You knew about her past deeds, but none knew of her camp, and none the extent of her true powers. He was no stranger then, to seeking the ill-defined in uncommon terrain.
He found the window, and with his left hand attempted to tap the magical glass. There were no bodies* and so he assumed that to step through, at least, was safe. Inside the chamber, he made room for the others to follow through and began surveying his surroundings.
*Unless Shane is still hanging there, in which case, by his position, Marcos'd assume that to step through, at least, was not what'd killed him.
