I know that it was with the best intentions in mind, or else, your amulet has lied to me. It is an 'educated' guess, if you will, but from what I can make out from my feelings, I am indeed, responsible, but as to why, I do not know - but I mean to find out." Turning his gaze to her, he looked her long in the eye and said softly, "Now you know why we can never be together; not because of what I am, but because of the burden I must carry. It would endanger you needlessly."
