A crow was flying around the city. After hours of observing the clouds and townsfolk and flying over skyscrapers, it finally landed on a wooden lattern in a dark alley. The crow started coughing. In a few moments, it coughed up a hair ball that fell on the ground. The hairball entered a state of metamorphosis. The strands of hair turned into flesh, blood, bone and leather cloth, finally amassing a full grown humanoid. It was I.
After looking around for a bit, I found the girl. I walked closer to her.
"Hehe oops, looks like I forgot something." I stated while scratching the back of my neck. Suddenly I realized who I was talking to and changed the expression on my face for a more serious, inexpressive one. A cooler expression, I might even say.
I put my hand in my pocket and reached out with the envelope. The envelope had some bloodstains on it.
She took the envelope, slightly grumbling to herself very quietly.
I used a short period paralyzation spell on her. Then I gave her a good slap across the face with the aid of my long and polished nails. A bit of blood ran down her cheek.
"Do not fail me."
I walked away.
