Aeriah: 29/29
Throughout all of this, Aeriah frowned, his gaze narrowing. At the mention of her parent’s murder, a dark light entered his eyes. Sinister and scary, it revealed a side of him Jena had not seen before; elven vengeance – or justice; it was hard to be sure which, but at that moment, the girl realised just how dangerous Aeriah was and to invoke his wrath was to court certain death, even if it took him decades, he would repay slights. Then the light faded, replaced by one of pity, compassion and warmth. Speaking softly, he stroked her hand gently, his touch so tender, Jena realised he was treating her as though she was more precious then a fragile glass ornament or butterfly that would crush or shatter if held too heavily, “I do not know the ways of my people, since I have lost my memory, but I do know that if I was in their position, I would have done the same. Abandoning a child, any child would be a sin, especially one who had lost their parents in such a brutal manner.”
Aeriah sighed, frowned, and asked, “Nice? How? I… forgive me, but, you have lived with elves and know somewhat of their ways, and whilst I may have, I do not recall. I know only that I can follow my heart, and do what I know is right.” Jena could almost forget the shadow that hung over him in that moment, almost, but not quite, the look in his eyes (perhaps) remaining to haunt her for some time.
“Since elves took care of you and you’re here by yourself now… I guess we’ll have to take care of you in their stead.” Aeriah added, his tone light, warmth and slightly humorous.

Edit: note to self: copy what you write in word, not the quote
Edit 2: check for speech marks in the blasted "[font color=" "]"
Edit 3: Close font tags... grrr. Too many edits.
