And so, the group headed to the temple of Bhaal. Bhaal's temple was well kept, clean, and made from a light grey stone, whilst the inside was decorated with black and white marble, pillars firmly in place. Behind the alter at the far end of the temple was set an enchanted fountain, gently pouring into a pool. This Bhaal's temple did not look ominous at all, although, strangely, there were no clergy...
As the group looked around, a hooded, dark figured appeared behind them, garbed in long midnight blue robes. Speaking in a soft, musical voice, her gender was obviously female, but her features were hidden. "Greetings, travellers. I know that of what you seek, and I can offer assistance, if you require it." Her accent was refined, noble, yet there was something strange about her. She was tall, at least 5'9, and somehow, power radiated from her. "We share a common goal, though other pressing matters prevent me from seeking the source directly. However, I would suggest that you seek out those who have not been affected as we have. If one such being exists, no doubt he or she is the one responsible. Do not be too hasty, however, for there are many things in this world we cannot truly understand, and not everything is in a form such as us... perhaps, it would be wise for you to seek out other sentient beings, that are bound not in mortal form? There are tales of such trees, wise beyond measure, who exist across the ages... perhaps, you would best be starting there?" the figure observed them for a moment longer and then smiled, "I wish you the very best of luck. Farewell." before anyone could say another word, she vanished.
Aeriah blinked, stunned for a moment, thinking to himself "'Who was she?'
For once, Kyr was at a loss for words... for a couple of moments before she started chattering again, "Strange lady... I like her though. She seems nice." Then she fell silent again.
