He could but watch as Nanashi slayed the guard. He had been powerless to save the man. With his last dying act the man had cut the shoulder of Nanashi. Yet he knew that alone he could not defeat Nanashi. He just needed to hold her here until the Inquisitor managed to mobilise his men. He hoped that this would happen in a few minutes time. He was already injured. He decided he would try to make the tiger talk, although he stayed on his guard, ready to transform whenever he had to.
"So Liam let you go afterall. Or did you kill him?"
