Hikari was already very confused by the sudden urgent mission. And with the appearance of the strange man and the disappearance of her new partner, she didn't know what to do.
"Um, well, I guess I'll just stand here then..." she called after the short assimar. The positai stood there for a few moments, waiting, then decided that she wasn't coming back any time soon. Looking around her, she took in the wreckage.
"Okay, so… what exactly is it that I’m supposed to be doing?" sHikari wondered aloud to herself, scratching her head thoughtfully. She raises a hand in front of her, determinedly, and preceeds to tick off notes with her fingers.
"One, I am not allowed to tell anyone what I heard. Two, Rapture Phage technology was destroyed." She glances up at the destruction in front of her and nodds. "Okay, three, I've joined forces with the Lylocks and have to work with a kid aasimar partner..." Hikari paused thoughtfully. "I didn't know they could start that young. Oh well, guess my reputation proceeds me... Oh! Maybe they want me to be a guardian to her... sorta teach her how the Poletzai handle things, and what to do on missions..." She brightened at the thought of guiding the young aasimar to become a wonderful and knowledgeable person in the field.
"Well, I better set a good example for when she comes back," Hikari decided with a happy smile, and looked about her. "I'll... go investigate the wreckage! Maybe there's a clue!" She ran over and began to sort out the remains of the hull, making notes to herself aloud.
