"Good. I see that you are ready. My scouts have reported that the wild men are in the valley parallel to the south of this one. Report back with whatever you find." - and with that Kalam dismissed Therlion and turned to Keal.
"Now we can at last speak in private. I am sorry for having treated you how I had to, but I cannot lose face in front of my men."

Therlion and the two men following him left the encampment and started walking towards the south. They needed to cross a mountain pass about seven hundred meters higher to gain a view of the valley on the other side of it. So far the two men with him had shown no signs of violence...
