"Ung," Lyulfe gave a short grunt of pain as Rong thumped on his chest. Wincing slightly he looked up at Rong with a lopsided smile.
"Eh, being around that crazy bard made me go soft in my cynical old age. Always out to help a good cause, and all that," he said loftily, waving an arm about in the air melodramatically.
"Although I didn't realise it would take that much out of me... usually I'm supporting the bard's spells, not the other way around..." He gave Rong an uncharacteristic meek look, but his eyes held a glint of humour.
"I'll try not to do it again without your permission.
"Now, lets see how good I am at mobility," Lyulfe said, moving on to another subject.
"Unfortunately I may have to buy a cloak to hide my horrible change, because I don't have enough magic stored in me to fix it. Don't worry, I should recharge again soon enough. I must warn you though, that I have almost no energy for the simplest of spells, and if I were forced to transform to my normal form, I may have to stay that way for awhile. And we need to discuss your knowledge of my true name," he continued on while struggling to sit up. It was a rather laughable sight to watch a grown elf seem incapable of performing so simple a task, if it weren't for the seriousness of his eyes and the tone in his voice.
