Lyulfe

Lyulfe was totally surrounded by the darkness. It's velvety caress was telling him to let go, worry no longer... With indifference he watched a thin cord of coppery light weave its way down through the inky blackness, making its way to him. Brushing past his nose, he caught the scent of herbs that reminded him of beautiful, ancient islands, and someone that he knew... someone important...

The cord wrapped delicately around his hand, and Lyulfe watched it with wonder. Suddenly, the fragile thing no longer seemed so innocent as pain began to race up through his hand, feeling like lightning and liquid fire. He tried to jerk his hand away, but it merely wrapped itself tighter around it. The blackness began to become oppressive and thick, making it hard to breathe or even think... I must... go up... he gasped in his mind, his limbs finally regaining feeling.

He achingly moved his tired limbs to propel himself away from the darkness, following the path of the copper thread. After what seemed like ages Lyulfe could make out what appeared to be the mirrored surface. But.. it's still so far... away... he whispered in his mind, his energy drained. He tried to stop himself from being pulled downwards into the darkness below by grabbing onto the cord with two hands, causing pain to shoot through both of them. He frowned slightly as he watched some being look anxiously down at the rippling surface, someone from the real world. A name drifted across his mind.Ro..ng... Rong..! I can't... make it... so... tired... He tried to raise a hand towards her, but found his muscles too tired to do so. Help...call...me...

Use his name of power... A strange yet familiar voice brushed across Rong's mind, causing her to look up from Lyulfe in apprehension and confusion. Call him... it is the only way... he tires... you must summon him... It continued persistently. With your mind... bid him come to you... Eolandesamoradananne..!
