He fixed his eyes on the merchant. Although his aim was always to gather as much information from as many sources as he needed before acting, he had never been fond of those characters who demanded coin for truth. Especially when dealing with one as potentially hazardous as Silverfall, it was only in the man's best interest to share what he knew freely.
Naturally, if the inquisitor wanted this information he might have little choice in the matter.
His reluctance to deal with people as he faced now, however, was rarely more important than learning what he might. Yet this time he could ill afford to leave his position with clear view of the tavern and street in favour of a small room, or he might miss Silverfall's return.

What information you have that I do not already possess, I am willing to purchase from you. However, if we are to do buisness we will do so here, for I have no desire to step indoors."
