ooc- now now boys, play nice!
Larry, I'm going to assume that everyone in the Necklace team "passed the test"...

ic-
As the Necklace team peered questioningly at the two entangled trees, one by one their looks turned to wonder and surprise and a few actually bothered to rub their eyes, to check their sight.

The two trees had disappeared to be replaced with a comfortably sized cabin, with an herb/vegatable garden to the side and a chicken coop in the back. Around the building about half a dozen chickens wandered about, clucking to each other as they scratched in the dirt or wandered back to the coop. What was even stranger than this sudden appearance of civilization midst the wilderness was the immense number of cats.

Sprawled on the roof, across the steps and porch, yawning casually on the ground, sniffing the empty food bowls, pestering the chickens with a bored paw, cats of all shapes and sizes were everywhere. There were tortoise, wild, tabby, black, gray, yellow, calico; ones with green eyes, or purple, or yellow, or brown. And there were even a few more wild varieties, such as bobcats, caracals, lynx, jungle cats, leopards, margays, and many more that the group could not name. Not a single tiger was to be spotted in their midst.

The cats and chickens seemed to live in a somewhat peaceful co-existance, and as the spell fell away from the cabin a few cats glanced in the group's direction, sniffing with disinterest.

Liam

Liam shot KayLisa a look, then his eyes narrowed into what could only be described as amusement. "Indeed, I do not think we arre in much dangerr of this dangerrous tigerr that is rrumourred to be about. I am surre my frriends would tell me beforre he could get close." The tall man gestured towards the multitude of cats.

"Welcome to my home. I do hope none of you arre, how do you say, allerrgic?" he gifted the group with a wry grin before leading them towards the cabin. A few cats wove their way over to him to sniff him and yowl, obviously in protest of him bringing uninvited houseguests and about the state of their food dishes.

"Ahh, you complain too much, little one. You know you arre frree to come and go as you wish, to hunt," the tall man addressed one particularly adamant tabby with mismatched eyes. It sniffed and wandered off in response, it's tail twitching irritably. Liam shrugged his shoulders and continued to lead the way to the door of the cabin, cats and chickens moving out of his way with their own parting comments.

"Herre, feel frree to eat. Therre is some food still available in the cupboarrds, I'm surre. I must quickly look afterr my frriends, then I will help you come up with a solution as to how you will check on the otherr grroup's prrogrress, Larrry," the tall man drawled in his strange accent before walking back outside.

The group is now within a small kitchen. Light streams in through a window in front of them, and a window to their left. From the rafters hangs a variety of flowers and herbs, and there's a dusty, aromatic smell to the room, probably because of all the herbs. A strong table with an assortment of chairs is in the middle, and to the right there is a hearth and chimney, with an immense black couldron hanging, obviously to cook soups and other things in. A kettle hangs off to the side, and a few plain wooden cupboards reveal more silverware and dishes and cooking utensils, as well as a variety of food and cooking herbs. Two doors, one to the left of the hearth, one to the group's immediate right, are closed.

Strangely enough, this room seems to be almost cat free, containing only three cats: one elegant, female cat with gray-brown fur and dark stripes sat on the edge of the table, watching the group with sea-blue eyes. Another, more grizzled, older male lounged across the cabinet top, his tail twitching impatiently. He watched the group with the one eye he had remaining, the colour of dark amber. His fur is a rather gray shade, tinged with olive brown. White and black spots contrast across his pelt. Lying along the hearth is a pregnant female, her eyes squinted to mere slits. Her amber pelt, with black spots, moves up and down with her breaths.
