Candle Team
As Roderik attempted to use his shadow to "push open" the door, instead he felt his hand go icy cold as his shadow-hand actually passed through the strange material. His hand felt as though it was touching something then, although his hand of flesh was not touching anything. Guiding his shadow hand around the object that he felt in the icy cold, he assumed that he now had the item in grip and closed his hand in the air, though this was mimicked by the shadow hand. Then he pulled his shadow hand out of the stone. When he shadow hand appeared in the hallway, it was holding the candle. Roderik removed the candle from his shadow hand, as though the candle were afloat in mid-air.
The candle is black, and normal-looking. One can tell that it has never before been lit. It stands upright on a plate of gold.
