Upon searching the body, you see that the only possession that the creature had was the dagger she was clenching.
Further examination of the blade reveals a hidden power that even the Lamia did not know about.

Description: Dagger + 2
This dagger has a great weight and feel to it. You imagine that it used to belong to a thief that had a sad turn of events upon meeting up with the Lamia. It has a dark-red metallic blade and the hilt is small and without a pummel, which would allow for a good throwing weapon or jabbing weapon.

Upon even further inspection, you realize that the dagger has some type of spell embedded in it, and you make an offering prayer to Mystra to reveal the identity of the power that is hidden. She grants your prayer's wish and speaks to you in your mind. The name of the dagger is Fire Fang, and upon speaking the activation word, "fuego", the dagger will become a flaming long-sword for 5 rounds, used only once per day.
