Breathing deeply and pulling one of his beard braids absently, Kirûn stood a moment in thought.

Peering at Bober from under bushy brows, he sighed. "Laddy, I be wantin to take a look at this here fire I be smellin. Jest wantin to see what all the hubbub is about."

He fingered his battle-axe and looked at the stairs leading downwards. "Why don't ye follow a bit behind me so we don't get a jumped on? Hmm?"

Without another word, he cinched his pack straps and checked the location of his smaller weapons and other items tucked in his wide waist belt.

Glancing back for a moment, he looked questioningly at Bober. Shrugging, he straightened his helm, put a hand on the half of his battle-axe and dissapeared through the gaping archway.
