Reaper
The Hag was busily working her magics, the blades flowed together like drops of water, merging becoming something new. With a dark smile and a hateful glare at the creature that had caused him so much pain over the time she had been inside his mind, he could think of no greater repayment. His hand went up, tearing the arrowhead amulet from his neck, the chain tearing bits of his flesh with it, he then brought his arm down, striking the hags unguarded back. Doing just enough damage to draw blood, for that was all the magic required, Surprised pain turned to fear in her eyes, as the very essence of Larry's blackened heart, twisted by his own darkness infected her, drawing a piece of her life force into it.
The sword, now merged and still glowing from the demonic dweomers dropped to the ground as she frantically tried to claw her way to him, screaming in rage. But he scooped up the blade, and pressed the arrowhead into the pommelstone joining it with the blade, then bringing the evil blade about and striking the Hag with it, as she lunged for the Fallen One's throat, with a flash of darkness, and a blast of rolling thunder echoing from the sword, the hag vanished, and the sword glowed with blackness, a palpable darkness, that was more than an absence of light, it was the essence of loss, entropy and betrayal. It took a few minutes for the dark knight to recover, and pick himself from the ground where he landed, and by the time he reached it, the sword had already cooled.
Picking up the sword he felt many things, a bit of his own soul was imbued into the blade, lending strength to his will, keeping in check the raging of the Night Hag, and the madness of the former Holy Avenger, corrupted by darkness, as Reaper had been. The personalities would eventually lose themselves and merge with the strongest of the two, most likely the Hag's, but her treachery was repaid in kind, and that alone made the Fallen Paladin smile with the first true happiness he had felt in a very long time.
