ruby's movements become very edgey as they get closer. brendon has run ahead and she worries greatly for him, but knows there will be no way she will get through this much longer with that horrendous howling!
she reaches for wyrds mane and pulls him closer to her side. his neck cradled in the curve of her side at her waist. her left hand reaches for ana's arm and pulls her close as well.
in a hushed and scared whisper she encourages anarrima to lock arms with her shoulder to should and match pace. "i might be able to protect us from these howls, please give me the chance....."
OOC:what ruby is attempting is in the discussion thread...if i can get it to load after i type my response...here is my second attempt at this post....
