OOC>>>Oh my heck, Cyril! I just learned about who "Echo" is in Greek Myth! That is freaking awsome! I was like "!!!" in class today.
Anarrima60/60
She was grateful for the help the elven man offered her. In elvish culture, it was not uncommon for those of one land to know much of those in another, and she was certain that she had heard of this one before, but she had been in the dungeons of the Drow so long, she was not sure what memories she would be able to recall. Either way, his stong arm was what she needed to pick up the pace and forget the pain in her side as she ran. Then he turned to look at something and she could tell he was bothered by what he saw. Yet, he hid his concern well...except she was a cleric of a goddess of light and beauty. Suddenly, by focusing her thoughts on the matter, she felt him. A sinister, dark shape behind them, following at a menacing pace, as though to taunt them. The realization of this dark entity shook her body in a shiver of the fear of death. She screamed out,
"My Goddess! The darkness shall overtake me! Save me, Lady Fairhand! Do not let your servant perish in Shadow!"

Echo
Echo is a strange character. He was the servant to the Mad One long ago when the times were dark...maybe as dark as they are now, yet hope and hard work put an end to those days of shadow...or so everyone thought. Everywhere, echoes of the Shadow can be found. When the Mage fell from his thrown, light was restored on Ironworks, yet the darkness of the caverns beneath the forums...the Underforums, allowed for the perfect breeding ground of the Children of Shadow.
Echo, however, is not a child of shadow. He was from the beginning, and shall be until the end. What is his purpose, therefore, in this game? What will he hope to gain from his alliance with Rhianneth, who he seems to particularly fancy?
"Rhianneth...Rhianneth...neth..."
"You must run faster!...run faster...faster..."
"The time is up for your group...your group...group..."
"But one has joined you that you do not yet realize...and will be valuable to your quest...your quest...quest..."
"Do not let him go...him go...go..."
In this way, the echo tried to convey the message to Rhianneth that she must realize the danger is upon them and that they must be moving as fast as possible. But as well...he, in his own special way, mentioned that he had taken notice of the Reaper tailing them, and that his role in this mess was vital to the desires that Rhianneth held deep within. Yet he left much to her for interpretations. That is just how echoes are.
Mere shadows of truth and life.

Brendon70/70
The ranger had taken up the position as leader of this merry band of running lunatics, sceaming and hustling to save their lives, but then he heard Ana scream in fear and supposed that the Enemy had finally caught up with them. Being the man that he was...whether it be called brave or stupid, he stopped and allowed Rhianneth and Ruby and the lion to dart past him. He drew upon his mighty bow, (How he was able to recover it, you'll never know... ) and notched an arrow, meant to slay the thing that had frightened Ana from the darkness. He saw her and Saithele taking up the rear of the party as they ran from unseen danger. He drew back the bowstring and breathed in a long and steadying breath...then began to slowly exhale and focus his all in the shadows behind Ana. He was intent on stopping or slowing down whatever was back there in order to save those two elves...even if it meant his own life. He would never be called a coward for running while his group perished.

OOC>>>Morgeraut, Brendon is watching for the Reaper, as Anarrima has alerted him to an unseen danger from that direction. I do not know of Reaper's abilities well enough to know if you or the Hag will forsee Brendon's aim with his bow, so just RP the way you think it should be done. You will also have to alert me as to whether or not your appearance is recognizable to your once-before travelling companion.
Mistral: You are free to do as you wish with the info you have, or you can ask.
Cril: Don't hold anything back on my account. Let'em rip if you so choose. Or not. I can handle either sequence of events.
