It did not take long to grasp the mannerisms of the dwarves for dragons are both long-lived and well-schooled in the art of studying those who might pose a threat. Still, however, even for one so skilled as a dragon an imposture of so unusual a creature as one of these dwarves could not succeed on so little notice were it not for the hurried and relentless pace of the work. And so it is that stone has been surrendered into an impostor’s hands .....

..... Hurried they are, these dwarves, and focused upon their work. There is, therefore, little time for the impostor to think as a voice calls for him to be quick about bringing the stone forward .....
