ruby looked up from her hands. her stress seems to increase at every turn or moment in these caves. if truly given her choice she would run away. but she knows that the hunger would just continue, it would catch up to her some day.
"i guess he left. i didn't see him go, i was distracted. wyrd says the whole place smells of grimlock, he can't determine where gnob may have gone. perhaps the shadowy elf would be a good place to start....once we get out of this cavern wyrd may be able to pick up his scent, but only if his trail differs from the army's. i propose that if we cannot find his trail right away to go slwoly behind the army and perhaps wyrd could find his in time."
ruby straightens herself out, and clutches a hand to wyrd's mane. "if you are ready...." she gestures with her hand for ana to walk beside her.
