ooc- darn, all the exciting things happen while I'm gone... *pout* ah well, snowboarding was fun

ic- Lyulfe made as if to jump over the edge as well, but Skye quickly grabbed his wrist. He looked at her in consternation. "I've got to do something, I've got to help!" he growled, but the usually cheerful and light-hearted bladebard gave her companion a serious look.

"Who are you going to help, Rong Er, or the others following her?" When he looked away, she added gently "We will cause more harm than help out there in the water, because we do not know what to do in the ocean. We are needed here. We can help ease the pain, whether he deserved it or not. What happens to Rong Er will be up to the Fates."

The tall elf's shoulders slumped slightly, and he turned back to face Skye. "You're right, for once. And now would be a very inopportune time to reveal..." he trailed off.

The bladebard nodded knowingly, and the two went to Morgemil's cabin where he lay unconscious and breathing heavily. One of the sailors were nursing a bruised face. "We can help ease his suffering and give him dreamless sleep, but you will have to leave the room for us to perform well," Skye addressed the others. "You may stand outside the door if you wish, but do not come in unless I say, no matter what you hear. When one is poisoned and ill, they do not know what they speak," she addressed Morgemil's bodyguard. Lyulfe slipped out of the room and quickly returned with Skye's harp in hand. "Thank you. If we're lucky, Lyulfe and I may be able to stave off the spread of the poison, but I have to find out more about the poison first," she continued, then waited for a response to her offer of help.
