Lyulfe's eyes crinkled slightly at the corners as he had a sudden bout of coughing in an attempt to cover up his laugh. "It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who is at the receiving end of such things..." he quickly realized that he may have let on too much and refrained from saying anything more. "Will this... setback hinder the voyage any, Captain?" he asked, changing the subject.

Skye started to smile when Rumbin spoke up angrily. She turned around and frowned slightly. "She was only joking. I'm sorry if my friend offended you in any way, but she is not the reason why the rope was cut. Rong was merely trying to make light of the situation. She bowed slightly, then looked back at him. "I appologize that we found amusement in such a thing, but remember that we are not seafaring folk. I hope this is not a reflection of what is to come, for otherwise it will be a long voyage for all of us." Skye was trying her best to make amends with the sailor. She greatly dislikes when someone is upset with her, and takes it as a personal failure if she is unable to make things right.

Lyulfe suddenly seemed distracted, and his eyes narrowed slightly. "Excuse me for a moment, I think Skye... should be back now. I just want to make sure." The elf excused himself amid the surprised looks and strode over to the other side of the boat where Rong Er, Skye and Rumbin were. "Why, hallo Skye, Rong Er. Back already?" he said mildly, interrupting the heated discussion. No one except those looking for it notices the grateful glance Skye gives Lyulfe and the look exchanged between them.
