ic- Lyulfe, after blinking a bit to get rid of his "deer-in-the-headlights" look replied "Eh? Oh, well... I guess she's... "beautiful," I never really thought about it..." he mumbled something else under his breath that neither Rong Er or Skye could hear.
"Sorry? Mind saying that again? I'm not quite as young as I used to be," Skye jibed, and nudged him with her elbow.
"Nothing, just said you're not the most beautiful thing I've ever seen," the elf replied while looking around at nothing.
"Humph! Well, that's good, 'cuz I wouldn't want you all goggle-eyed and stuff. You can't be a good conscience if you can't think straight in my presence," the half-elf retorted. Noticing Rong Er's slightly confused expression, she smiled. "Don't mind us. It's nice to "formally" meet you, Rong Er. I think it's a shame how people treat each other when it's much easier to just be friends, don't you think?" she continued with a smile.
"Better get your things together," Lyulfe broke in. Skye gave him an odd look.
"You've been acting strange today, and that was the most strange so far. Why did you say that?" In response, the tall, handsome elf merely pointed towards the land fast approaching them while gulls cried overhead.
