Well now, he certainly isn't as impressive as what I would have thought, considering Papa's descriptions... ~ Tucking a braid from her back to the front, she played with it absently ~ How very strange that I should bump into him, of all people, without any intention!

As she walked back and forth the ship deck, her thoughts drifted further... further to the Peach Blossom island, where her father was probably sick with worry ~ It is all his fault! ~ An angry tear rolled down her right cheek ~ What a stupid business it is, trying to match me with a total stranger! ~ Her proud nose quivered at the memory ~ Even if he were a talented young man... - which she reluctantly had to admit, by all accounts of Ouyang Foo's handsome features, intelligence and warrior skills - ... even if that were the case, he's an arrogant creature with the heart of a scorpion, and I'll not have him! ~ Troubled, she turned away slightly, now facing the rising sun.

Back to this Morgemil fellow... ~ A smile crept onto her lips as she remembered his humiliated face when her appearance had caught him totally offguard ~ With his current level of skills, he needs all the help he can get! ~ The slight breeze sent a few strands of her jet black hair dancing ~ Papa mentioned that Morgemil had sent out several calls for tutors in dragon-slaying, that he had offered ridiculous sums of money just to be trained, with no real practice such as a live dragon... he must be obscenely rich... ~ A little crease formed on her forehead ~ ... I wonder where he gets his wealth from... ~ A smirk now played at her lips ~ Anyway, Papa was quite right to ignore the ads; he would never have accepted a less-than-alert disciple...

CRASH! She jolted back to reality, spinning around to detect the source of the interruption.
