ooc- love the pic! where'd you get it?
ic- Lyulfe, with a tray of food in his left hand, strode towards the crew's sleeping quarters purposely. He had given up his bed for the past few days for the ill stowaway, and had been sleeping elsewhere. The elf glanced up at the morning sun. He loved this time, when everyone else is still asleep, and it's just him, the fresh salt air, the gulls, and the rocking ship. Shaking his head, he went to open the door. Lyulfe paused in confusion and suspicion and poked the unfastened door so it swung farther open. He stared at the rumpled bedclothes of the empty bottom bunk with dismay.
"Skye!" he yelled. There was an answering thump from above. After a few muttered curses in various languages, a tussled creature fell down and landed with a loud 'BANG!' at Lyulfe's feet.
"mumblemumbleStupidbunkmumble," the half-awake bladebard groused.
"What's wrong?" she asked Lyulfe in an annoyed tone. He continued to stare at the bottom bunk pointedly. Skye glanced over briefly.
"Yeah, so she's in your bed, that hasn't changed..." she paused for a moment, then whirled around.
"Egads! She's gone! Why weren't you watching?" the half-elf shouted, and Lyulfe sighed in response. Skye rushed for the door and ran around the corner.
"So much for that early-morning quiet," he mumbled, as he stooped to straighten the sheets. With the food tray still in hand, he walked in the direction Skye went and almost bowled her over around the corner.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked the frozen half-elf dryly. She pointed a dazed finger, and Lyulfe's gaze followed. A tinny crash was heard soon after as the food tray was released from the elf's stunned grip.
"Oh," Lyulfe finally said, his eyes wide.
ooc- hee, I dunno why I made my chars have such funny antics... must be because I had my coffee ^^
