Backround: Unknown to Reese, he is the son of an infamous, pirate, with whom (ironically) he shares the same name.
Orphaned, and raised as a thief, by a thief, he grew up with an unquenchable thirst for adventure and money.
His adoptive father died while Reese was only 12, he was forced to fend for himself in the world.
Finding a knack for swordplay, he began to make a name for himself, dueling various brutes for cash.
He joined up with a simple mechant ship crew, as an escort, where he learned the arts of sailing.
He quit the crew and struck out in own in search of more 'excitement'.
