When did straight out charging him blindly become something no one does anymore? That's what I do... just because I play Baldur's Gate like I'd play AD&D, and you didn't know it was there... like you were just walking and whoah, what do you know, a dragon! And you don't have time to position everyone and do everything ahead of time... it gives a great challenge to the battle, and you have to have people move around a lot... but it isn't hard... dragons are nothing.

Well... Baldur's Gate II is seen from above, so you don't see very far. Seen from the character point of view you would see the Dragon from Very far away.
But I also like to charge the Dragons. The only thing I hate is the Damned Wing Buffet.
