As they crossed the street, walking amongst urban buildings, which felt like rocks and natural surroundings due to the stillness of it all, The survivor and the two investigaors neared the large satelite uplink tower, which broadcast news all across the globe. It, like a menacing zigurat, stood out amongst the other high rise buildings, at least 200 stories tall, it was a very menacing sight.
"They're atracted to technology" the gatekeeper spoke up "They want to find a way to set traps for us so they can leave this rock, don't forget that... If we can do anything though, we're gonna' have to warn anyone else who tries to get here..."
The gatekeeper looked at Alex with an odd expression. Alex only nodded. There was obviously something they knew which they were witholding from robert, but what was it?
Just then a building on one of the floors near the top of the large building broke and glass flew through the air, the gatekeeper stopped robert before he could aim his gun... "It's a survivor..."
"HELLO! ARE YOU PEOPLE? OH THANK GOD! I THOUGHT I WAS A GONNER UP HERE!!" The man shouted, his voice echoed about...
"Uh oh... That's not good" Alex spoke as he looked around.
"The sound is deffinetly going to atract them..." Robert agreed... And then suddenly all of the other buildings of the sky scrapper blew out at once and like a plague of locusts machines of all maners and types began to flood from the building and while some leapt through the air to try and land on top of them, others crawled to the ground and began to stampede...
