Alae yawned, then blinked at Arlyth's question,
"If being with me makes you more at ease, Arlyth, than there is no problem at all. I used to sneak into Alaerth's room sometimes if I had a bad dream. Not anymore of course." She smiled, then frowned, "No, I have not had any lovers, nor has Alaerth. We have to be careful about things like that. It isn't good for reputation if we had lovers. Any lover we might have has to be looked at as a potential husband or wife, and if they don't cut it, then nothing will come of it. Why do you ask?"
