Sylquis calmly sat down and began to speak; "No." the cleric replied firmly. "I am not going to play 'mother' to every little dispute you have. If you are going to take him along, I won't be there to settle disagreements between you all. This is your problem, children. You can both solve it. I would suggest that you both calm down and then talk to him. Perhaps both together, and then Alae can leave the two of you alone?" she suggested, and continued, "If he is anything like his father, he'll refuse to come to you; because he'll feel he'll have 'lost face', and be akin to a dog crawling back with it's tail between it's legs." she gave a pointed look at Alliene, which spoke volumns - remembering Calaethis's behaviour, and looked back at the twins. "If you get angry with him; you'll get nowhere. I expect he feels just as insulted as you do, Alaerth. It was probably your tone..." she finished. "Arlyth has never seemed to have a problem with your authority, Alae, or mine for that matter. Just talk to him; I'm sure he'll see your point of view and appologise." Then she returned their pointed look, still seated.
Sylquis turned to address Gus. "Void Genasi, you know nothing of what goes on here. You know nothing of what has passed; and I would advise you to stay out of this. Keep such comments to yourself! They are provocative, unnecessary and quite frankly, totally uncalled for!" she paused, and finished coldly, "You would do well to stay out of matters that don't concern you. Especially family disputes." both her eyes and voice were cold, and showed none of the warmth that her eyes held when she was speaking to Alae & Alaerth. It was clear that she loved both twins, as well as Arlyth. It was also clear she disapproved of the Genasi.
