"Arlyth's own eyes were blazing green; clear emerald, and they were flaming. "Release me." he replied, his tone flat, dead. "Now." his tone showed that he was in no mood for her to disobey him, none whatsoever. "Let me go, Alae." he replied his voice ever so soft. "The fact that I had to bypass a minotaur, and hide from a fledging green dragon with no more inteligence then a Wyvern on the way here won't convince you I can take care of myself. You don't want me around." his tone was soft, and his eyes stopped burning. "You heard Aunty Sylquis... she said whatever evil is out there is after me as well... those assassin's were meant for me... and you want to leave me behind here?! Away from your protection?" he asked his voice almost breaking, "Away from you?" Alae realised that her suggestion to send him away from her had cut deep. "And... then... Alaerth... and..." throwing his arms around her, the young elf burst into tears and hugged her, and through choked sobs whispered, "You-don't-want-me-around."
