As Arlaerth made his way back to Sylquis; in his sister's chambers, he encountered little resistance. Opening the door, he heard Sylquis sigh in relief to see him, then a short gasp. Softly, she spoke, "Alaerth! Your injured." the Cleric's comment wasn't a question; but a statement, and Alaerth realised that he might be in for a stern lecture. "Is it bad?" she asked. When Alaerth looked around the room, he could see that his young cousin, Arlyth was seated in Sylquis's arms; his head upon her breast, resting peacefully. The boy's aunt held him gently, rocking him every so often. Sylquis set him down, with infinate care, her touch tender. Alaerth could see that she loved her nephew very much. The cleric turned to address the young prince, beckoning him in. Leading him away from the sleeping child, she took his arm in her hands, and examined it. "Not too bad, it could be a lot worst. Your very lucky it wasn't mangled or something equally nasty." she said, looking up into Alaerth's eyes, her tone soft, but stern. "Try to be more careful dear, please?" the cleric chidded softly, "I'm not going to tell you how important you are to the kingdom; because I don't have to; you already know that. But I don't like to see you getting hurt," she reached up and touched his cheek, caressing it gently, reminding the prince of an fond elder sister. Sylquis whispered a few words, and Alaerth gasped as he felt an icy chill wash over and go through him, cleasing him; when it had passed, he felt totally refreshed as if he'd just had a good night's rest; and completely healed. Sylquis embraced him briefly and released him, "Feeling somewhat better now, I hope?" she asked, her smile genuinely warm. Arlyth never stirred.
