"Take him some place safe." Alaerth snapped, sword still out, "I am going to rouse the Matron. We will see just who these assassins are." He slammed Isak back into its sheath and strode off towards Verloren's old room.
After pounding on the door, Alliene answered, looking annoyed. She saw his face however, and she turned grim, "What happened."
"Assassins. Follow me." He led Alliene to Sylquis's chambers to examine the bodies.
