SecretMaster, put your character together using 3rd editions rules and PM it to me. Larry's character Brendon was designed using the 3rd edition rule set and then tweaked a bit to conform to the style of play we're using in the game, so you would not be the only player to have done so. Any of the three options you proposed for a character should blend in well with the present party.
