same thng happened to me when i was soloing as an assassin. I just kept running around inmside the mounds trying to hide in shadows, and whenever I went off of one part of the inside of the mound, the trolls there would follow me to the other and when when i went back again there would be more trolls there. I eventually just took all the goodies in there and run like hell, which is what i would suggest doing if that happens again.
