Roderick was puzzled. What the hell was this tube for. It could be plans for some weapon, no doubt the army wants to increase its power. And how were the Lylocks able to get hold of the object? Surely research and development compounds have tight security.
He felt something tightening on his hand. He looked at it, and saw his temporal glove. He prefered his powerglove, but he had to stick with protocol. Although the rocket is nice.
Present...
He heard a voice speak and whirled around.
"I'm Kineda... and you're in my way..."
Roderick instantly spoke, not even thinking of the consequences. "Who or what do you think you are, talking to a high ranking officer of the Lylock Army. Do you have any idea of my importance? Bah, you wouldn't know."
Roderick had to play his cards right. For all he knew, this could be a mercenary hired by the Lylocks...
