ooc: Okay, I resisted the temptation, but I don't know how long I can hold out. I just might crack and force something on everyone. But if I do, I expect you to answer back in kind, Spree.
And Sir E., you might as well just go ahead and post. Else you'll not do anything at all. Pathris doesn't seem to be coming back anytime soon.
Pathris looked at the woman, then looked at the pond. It certainly looked deep enough, as long as he got to the middle. Hmm... maybe it'd be better if he got to that branch over there, the one closer to the pond. Sure, it was a little higher, but did that really matter?
He looked back at Moralae. "Ten feet? That's it? I say we go higher. Provided that you don't wimp out on me and decide not to do it. Fun is fun, after all."
He dropped down to the ground, taking off the cloak and laying it next to his short bow and quiver, which leaned against a tree. The leather armor followed. He also kicked off his shoes for good measure. Those were the things he definitely did not want to get wet. He kept everything else: the daggers and the short sword, and even the few pieces of gold he carried.
With a quick and easy spring, Pathris pulled himself back up. He pointed at the branch he had spied moments earlier. "That's the one we're going off of. Unless you have a complaint?" he asked, smiling sweetly.
He deftly climbed over to the branch and stood on it. "Come on, Moralae. I know you want to do this as much as I do, my dear," he beckoned. "And if this isn't fun, we just may be out of luck."
ooc: I thought this wasn't a skinny-dipping thread, Spree?
