ooc: Reckless or not, I just might be crazy enough to do it.

Oh, the temptation! It might be too much for me!
Pathris dangled an arm down from the branch, but his hand was still a couple of feet over Moralae's head. His fingers waved back and forth, and he continued to smirk down at her as she began to rant.
Finally, his hand jerked up. "I wasn't planning on giving you one of my rocks anyway! Even if I did have one, why should I give it to you and not skip it across the pond myself? And if you did stub your toe on my rocks, what were you doing near them in the first place? Even if I had carelessly strewn them all over the place, it doesn't give you the right to go around stubbing your toe on them!" He stopped abruptly, realizing that he begun to rant in the manner Moralae was. That wouldn't do. He surely wasn't crazy, was he?
Pathris gazed down at Moralae and dangled his arm over her head again. "And I'm not pale. It must be the moonlight playing tricks on you. You never can trust what the moon tells you, after all." He winked knowingly. "Besides, I inherited the skin color of my father. He was a Sylvan Elf and was definitely not pale. It can certainly be useful at night.
"And why would I want to bite you? You're too scrawny," he added before laughing so hard he nearly fell from his perch.
