Pathris watched as Moralae stretched. She certainly was charming. Even her yawn was cute. And when she looked back at him with a smirk and patted his head, he nearly blushed.
Pathris thought for a moment. "Why can't we do both?" he replied with a shrug before grinning. He might as well be a buffoon for a few minutes longer. "Provided there is a pond here, of course."
He began to consider her statements again. "And would this town even know a scandal if it hit them in the face? I suppose it would give them something to think about, at least."
He got up and hefted the short bow he had leaned against the chair. "And what is this about money?" he asked with a smile.
