Timoj withdraws from the window as the last ogre falls.
"Well boys," he says to his two helpers, both standing slightly taller than the halfling, "You asked what ogres looked like when I told you how I once saved the entire village with nothing but a handful of berries, now you have seen some yourself. Big, mean and very smelly. The stench will probably hang around for days, so we'd best stay away from that part of town as much as possible."
They both nod, eagerly accepting Timoj's words of wisdom.
"What I don't understand is why they attacked the kobolds. I may have missed the first bit, but I wouldn't be surprised if they actually came to help our village. Most of them are decent people these days, helpful too. And I doubt they were a threat to the village in the first place.
Ah well. Brand, you keep an eye on the store, okay. It's 25 silvers for each loaf. Andy, do you think you can start work on tomorrows bread by yourself? I'll have a walk around the village."
The boys move downstairs, swiftly followed by the baker.
