Ladisha shrugged,
"Awful I may be, but she does not need to stare. What if I were not an Aes Sedai she probably would have been flaunting herself more than a Domani," she frowned suddenly as the girl returned with her cup of wine in one hand and balancing Calaethis's plate on the other. The innkeeper was heeling her with her own roast quail,
"Master Tolan, how long have you had this girl in your service?"
"Little more than a week, Ladisha Sedai. I hope she is not giving you too much trouble?" he sent a frown at the girl as he set Ladisha's food on the table.
"None that should cause you grief. Are you aware that you have the potential to channel, girl?"
The waitress's mouth dropped open and she pressed her hands to her stomach,
"Me? Channel?"
"Yes indeed. How old are you?"
"16, Aes Sedai..." she breathed, eyes starting to pop.
"Hmm...would you like to train at the White Tower and become an Aes Sedai?"
Ladisha was answered with the girls stunned splutters. She waited patiently until the girl calmed down, and nodded, eyes still wide.
"Excellent. I am afraid that we cannot escort you there today or tomorrow, but perhaps you would like to travel with us until we return? And what is your name?"
The girl overcame her awe and clapped her hands, "That sounds wonderful, Aes Sedai!" she blinked a few times, "My name is Keely Almon, Aes Sedai," she curtsied again.
"Very well, Keely. Gather your things and be ready to leave tomorrow morning. Be sure you have a good horse,"
Keely bobbed another curtsy and dashed off, her pretty face glowing excitedly.
Ladisha nodded in satisfaction, "If that girl can keep a steady head and a strong will, she could become very strong," she thanked a rather disgruntled Tolan for the quail.
