Ailurin smiled suddenly, and on impulse he embraced her, and whispered "Yes mother, and... thank you. Good night. He quickly leant down and gave her a peck on the cheek. He had never acted like this in front of her before, but then, she'd never been that parental either. Ailurin grinned inwardly, but did as he was told. If she wanted to treat him like a child, he was happy to be one for her, he decided, and suddenly realised how chidlish that in itself sounded. He shrugged mentally.
